2017 Challenge: Beat The Backlist

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great New Years celebration. With a new year comes new book challenges, and I’m already getting mine set up. One of the first challenges I’ll be participating in is Novelknight’s Beat The Backlist challenge.

Basically, it’s a year long challenge where you reads books published prior to 2017. It’s a great way to get books off your TBR that have been on there since the dawn of time. You set your goals (whether number of books or specific titles) and if you want, you can also join the mini challenge within Beat The Backlist:

Each month, the books are tallied up and a house is chosen as the winner. Novelknight will also be tallying the numbers for an overall winner at the end of the year.

You can find out more information on this challenge on Novelknight’s page. And without further ado, here are my goals and my house choice:

Goal

15 books (My goodreads is 30, so I thought I’d try a guaranteed half being pre-2017 releases)

House

Ravenclaw for the win! And that’s it. There will be readathons, Twitter chats, and things going on on Instagram as well. I’ll be posting my progress monthly on how I’m doing on this challenge. I hope you all join as well! If you do, don’t forget to sign up on Novelknight’s page.

Until next time!
